Youth Counselling

Why Try Youth and Teen Counselling?

During the adolescent stage of development (13-24) youth and teenagers go through a tremendous amount of change. Easily noticed are the physical changes, but there are also many emotional and social changes that happen as well, driven in part by brain development. In addition, there are immense pressures put upon youth as they try to navigate what are some of the most impactful years of their life. Sometimes it can be hard to tell what is normal adolescent development and what is a symptom of a larger psychological disorder. With so much at stake, it is important that when they are struggling they get the help that they need.
